How to prepare and get the most value from your virtual stylist consultation meeting

To kick off your Luv Juno bridal styling project, you’ll meet with your stylist over a Google Meet video call. Your stylist will get to know you, your budget, your preferences, and your vision for your wedding day. It’s a great way to see if you and your stylist are perfectly in sync with each other. Andif you don’t feel like there’s a connection, you can switch to a different stylist.

We’ve put together a list of tips and tricks make sure your consultation runs smoothly and you have the best possible experience. Read on to prepare for your stylist consultation!

Prepare to meet your stylist

Share your style

Scheduling

Schedule your virtual meeting to make sure an invite is sent out ahead of time. We’ll email you a link to choose an available time slot that works for you.

Get ready

On the day of your stylist consultation, wear your favorite clothes and fix your hair and makeup as you normally would to help your stylist get a better sense of your everyday personal style.

Outfits

Gather any items, accessories, shoes, or jewelry pieces you wish wear at your wedding. Your stylist can advise on how to style and select new pieces to best pair with any existing items you have.

Questions

Jot down any questions or concerns your have about your wedding day fashion to address with your stylist.

Meeting setup

Internet connection

This is the most important thing, so we’re putting it first. Make sure your Internet connection is stable for better meeting quality—and be sure to have a back-up plan in case things go south!

Video

Join the Google Meet from the link in the meeting invite. Make sure your video and sound is enabled so your stylist can hear and see you.

Lighting

Have your main source of light in front of you. Avoid bright lights behind you.

Background

The ideal background is your home office, closet, or bedroom. If unavailable, use a neutral virtual background through Google Meet.

Sound

Be in the quietest setting possible. Avoid shuffling papers, chewing gum or candy or being in a hectic environment so your stylist can clearly hear you.
